The primary goal of Student Affair Office is to guide students to learn about the way of getting along with others, acquaint them with morals, and then help them become decent students. Promote self-governed activities among students, including the election for student-mayor of self-governed town, strengthen children’s autonomy, and increase the knowledge of democratic participation. In order to strengthen life-discipline education, the honor-system is a positive way for encouraging students’ to behave well. Students who achieve the highest standard in the system can be taken a picture with the principal. According to teachers’ specialties, there are various morning activities, such as kickboxing, karate, clay, in-line skating, basketball and table tennis, for students to take part in. Students can choose one which interest them most. Hold plural physical activities that can motivate students’ team spirit, such as sports meetings, tug of war, fun fair, etc. Prepare nutritional lunch for students and emphasize nutrition education. Reinforce students’ traffic protection and safety during the time of going to and leaving school: In order to avoid having traffic jam in the entrance area, the spacious area around the gymnasium is mapped out in a proper way so as to make parents follow the given route to wait for/pick up their children on campus. In order to enhance the safety of students, a community-service network consisted mostly of volunteer mothers runs on campus. Rain or shine, these volunteers devote themselves in traffic control in rush hour. Make efforts in environmental-protection education: all teachers and students are earnest in doing recycling, garbage-classification and reducing the amount of garbage. Every Thursday, the leader of environmental-protection leads his members to do recycling unconditionally and uncomplainingly. |
